Male Female Balance: A Key to Evolution

Male Female Balance: A Key to Evolution
~ Gwilda Wiyaka ~
The differences, and potential synergy, amongst men and women is a fascinating topic. When men and women honor their differences, blending their skills and viewpoints, true magic happens. The same is true of the male/female balance and co-operation within each individual.

As we move into an age supporting unity, never has it been more important to find the balance between the genders, within and without, in order to embrace our potential as individuals and as a race.

Yet, we are currently far from that balance, and some of the inequities are quite surprising. In past years, there has been much attention on women’s equal rights, and strides have been made in that direction.

As the pendulum swings from polarization against female equality, we now find ourselves unwittingly polarized against male equality. Some laws actually put our men at an extreme disadvantage, in a position to be exploited and abused with no recourse.

With us this hour to help unearth the hidden inequity, and explore male/female balance and synergy, is the author of “Daughters of Feminism,” David Shackleton. David is a thinker and writer on gender and psychological growth. He served as editor and publisher of Canada’s gender equalism magazine, “Everyman: A Men’s Journal.” David has also organized annual conferences across Canada. His original models of gender co-dependence and psychological growth have formed the foundation of numerous self-discovery workshops and events.

Reclaim Your Life: Transform Your Future

Reclaim Your Life: Transform Your Future
~ Gwilda Wiyaka ~
Who are you?

Seems like a simple enough question to answer – until we consider all that is standing between us and our true expression. We actually live through a false identity based on birth order, gender, race, religion, physical appearance, marital status, education, occupation, and the expectations of others. In addition, we carry a lifetime of damage, resulting in guilt, shame, coping mechanisms, defenses and denials. All considered, our self-perception is distorted at best.

How can we clear the way for our true nature to shine through? What is our potential when we are free to live from authentic soul expression, rather than using all our energy to run the aforementioned programs?

So I ask again…Who are you…really?

With us this hour to delve into the shadows of false identity is Resilience Expert Michelle Nagel. Michelle guides successful people who are tired of being all  things to all people all the time, helping them to take off their protective armor so they can set boundaries, care for themselves without feeling guilty, be who they really are, and live the lives of their dreams without apology. The author of the best-selling book, “Suffering is Optional: Step Out of Darkness Into the Light,” and coauthor of the international bestseller, “The Light at the End of the Funnel,” Michelle has been teaching, coaching, and inspiring clients and audiences to make soul shifts that change the upward possibilities in their lives, while living within their divine power and joy.

Inner Landscape and the Evolution of Education

Inner Landscape and the Evolution of Education
~ Gwilda Wiyaka ~
There is indication that, as we move into a higher frequency environment, the children coming into the world are quite different than in times past. There is much talk of indigo, rainbow and crystal children with greater sensitivity, very different Design and needs.

Regardless of whether or not children are incarnating differently, there is no denying things are changing rapidly. From media bombardment and high speed computers to the blending of cultures, there is more stimulation and chaos demanding our attention than ever before.

With massive shifts occurring in the outer world, having a solid connection to our inner landscape is paramount.

What impact is this having on our children? How can we support them through the rapid changes of our time?  Do we need to rethink educational practices in order to provide children inner support?

Our guest this hour, Andres Gonzalez, is the Co-Founder and Marketing Director for the Holistic Life Foundation, Inc. in Baltimore, MD. Andres has taught yoga to diverse populations throughout the world, including Baltimore City Public School students, drug treatment centers, mental crisis facilities, homeless shelters, wellness centers, colleges, private schools, and other various venues throughout the nation and throughout the world. He has partnered with John Hopkins Bloomberg School of Health and the Penn State’s Prevention Research Center on a Stress and Relaxation Study, and is a published author in the Journal of Children’s Services. He is a certified Health Coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, maintains a B.S. in Marketing from University of Maryland, College Park, and an MBA from the University of Maryland, University College.
