Well Being of the Whole Being: The Transformation of Health Care

Well Being of the Whole Being: The Transformation of Health Care
~ Gwilda Wiyaka ~
As science delves more deeply into quantum physics and the energetic aspect of life, it has become increasingly clear that what was considered the sum and total of human beings – the physical – is but a fraction of the totality. Some speculate over 90% of our makeup is energetic, and not physical at all.
Yet our current health care is totally focused on the physical level. What impact does this gross oversight have on human health and healing? What will vitality and longevity look like when our energetic aspect, as well as the physical one, is addressed? What shift in consciousness will be required to embrace such a change?

With us this hour to explore these mysteries is Dr. Anoop Kumar. Dr. Kumar is a member of the homo sapiens species. He generally walks upright. While training in the ER, Anoop recognized an undiagnosed emergency: the more we are taught, the less we seem to know. He felt he would be abdicating his responsibility as a physician if he did not speak up about this.
Anoop is the author of two books, “Michelangelo’s Medicine” and “Is This a Dream?” Come visit Anoop at redefinehuman.com and anoopkumar.com. Say hello. I'm sure he'd like to meet you.

Elephant in the Living-room: Evolving Animal Relations

Elephant in the Living-room: Evolving Animal Relations
~ Gwilda Wiyaka ~
It is amazing that many believe love, compassion and the ability to grieve is an attribute only people possess – that only humans have a soul, feel pain or form family bonds. In truth, animals trump humans in all of these categories.
If we are to evolve as a species, we first must reunite with the wisdom and grandeur of the circle of life and all our relations. In this, the animals will be our teachers – if we can change our behavior towards them in time.
What do the animals have to teach us about life and love? What have we been overlooking in our arrogance?
With us this hour to delve into this most important topic is wildlife photographer, Larry Laverty. Following a 30 year career as a Hollywood actor, Larry Laverty shifted careers, becoming a professional photographer. This change of priorities was the culmination of a lifelong concern for the environment and wildlife conservation.
His dedication to elephants grew out of a rapidly growing understanding of their gentle nature and of mankind’s unforgivable crimes against them. His book, “Power and Majesty,” is the crest and combination of his longtime passions for photography and writing.
Larry holds a B.S. in Finance and a B.A. in Political Science. He supports the work of conservation organizations in Africa through their use of his photographs and ongoing financial contributions.
