The Evolutionary Power of Forgiveness

If there is one thing that will stop personal and collective spiritual evolution in its tracks, it’s the low frequency of guilt. Guilt has been propagated on all of us and is used to control the masses. In order to evolve or be successful, we need to be able to access and follow our intuition, inner promptings and knowing, rather than being directed by other through guilt.

Yet guilt is only part of the equation. A larger problem is the lack of two very necessary transformative ingredients – gratitude and forgiveness. Therein lies a tangled weave.

Gratitude cannot be embraced in the lack of forgiveness. Forgiveness of other cannot be obtained in the lack of forgiveness of self. Guilt thrives in the atmosphere of an ungrateful, unforgiving heart, while love languishes.

It’s virtually impossible to manifest anything, much less spiritual evolution, in the low frequency soup of ungratefulness, guilt and non-forgiveness. At the same time, this disabling mix is deeply conditioned into us all.

How can we find gratitude and forgiveness? What will it take to be free of the guilt that binds us to the status quo, in order to evolve into the glory of our full potential?

The concept of spiritual evolution is all well and good, but it’s becoming apparent that if we try to evolve before we restore and regenerate, our process will not have a good foundation, and is destined to failure.

So, what needs restoring and regenerating, one might ask? More to the point, what does not need restoring and regenerating?

From our attitudes of entitlement to the deplorable state of the global ecology within and without, we have a lot of work to do.

In order to channel – and maintain – the rapidly rising ambient frequency, we need to return ourselves and the environment to a more natural state – one that supports life.

Evolving Into the Aquarian Age

So here we are, at the dawning of the Aquarian Age, a time that has been anticipated since the 1800s when the concept of a New Age began. The Age of Aquarius is reputed to bringing unity, spiritual evolution, enlightenment, peace, joy, brotherhood and male/female balance.

However, looking out at the world, I have to say, I don’t see much of the aforementioned going on. In fact, things appear to be coming apart at the seams as cultures clash, economies fail, the environment is in crisis, children are killing children, and war looms large.

So what’s really going on? Where’s the happy-happy joy-joy? What am I missing? What does it really mean to evolve into the Aquarian Age?

Our guest this episode has spent a lifetime contemplating various aspects of this issue, and will no doubt have some interesting thoughts on the subject.
