Environmental and
Health Care Crisis: Irrevocably Broken?
~ Gwilda Wiyaka ~
Health and environment are among the most dire crises
we face today. Not surprisingly, they are interrelated – interwoven to the
point that it is difficult to see where one ends and the other begins.
As humans, we have fouled our own nest – the earth – until,
predictably, we have poisoned ourselves in the process. Not only echo systems,
but just when we need them most, health care systems are rapidly failing.
Clearly our current approach to both is unsustainable.
Can we turn this around, or has it gone too far to be
corrected – irrevocably broken?
What will it take to clean up and protect the planet
and our health? How can we as individuals become part of the solution rather
than part of the problem?
With us this hour to ponder these very pressing
problems is J. T. Madicus. JT is an American entrepreneur, educator, author,
and producer. Through his books, films, and businesses, he advocates modern
solutions to the problems facing our world, particularly in the fields of
healthcare, education, and sustainability.
