Shadow Dancing: Evolving Into Wholeness

Shadow Dancing: Evolving Into Wholeness
~ Gwilda Wiyaka ~
We all live with challenges. It seems to be universal. Life dishes out bumps and bruises to all of us. When we are overwhelmed, we often disconnect from the part of ourselves that, at the time, can’t cope in order to go on. These abandoned parts comprise our shadow, or forgotten self, that we avoid at all cost in order to protect ourselves from reinjury. Yet within this shadow lies our greatest gifts – gifts that can not only be reclaimed, but are much enhanced for having been impacted and healed from the original, seemingly negative, experience.
How do we uncover and integrate our shadow in order to find the treasures therein? Can embracing our shadow support us on our evolutionary path?

With us this hour to investigate the shadow is Abdi Assadii. Abdi is the author ofShadows on the Path,” a spiritual counselor and acupuncturist in his 33rd year of clinical practice in NYC. His work centers on helping his clients use their disease and dysfunction as a doorway to spiritual serenity. He believes that identifying and integrating the human shadow – those disowned or repressed puzzle pieces of the self that wreak havoc in our lives – offers the most lasting healing for what ails us in body, mind, and spirit. He has studied Chinese, Japanese, and Vietnamese acupuncture, body centered psychotherapy, martial arts, shamanic practices, and diverse meditative techniques.

Who are You and What is Your Quest: Evolving into True Purpose

Who are You and What is Your Quest: Evolving into True Purpose
~ Gwilda Wiyaka ~
In order to evolve into our true purpose, we must first let go of old, limiting concepts of who we are. This involves opening to infinite possibility.
Many traditions use trance states and spiritual guides to navigate the inner landscape of the human psyche in order to access our true potential. These traditions deal deeply with the language of spirit – archetypes, allegory and synchronicity. The messages they carry must be translated from the language of spirit, as accessed in the imagination, to a more literal form that makes sense to the linear mind. This is a rare art form, Virtually lost in modern times, resulting in much confusion regarding spiritual information.
With us to discuss the topics of purpose, spiritual information and the meaning of life, is Garnet Schulhauser. Garnet is the author of numerous books, including “Dancing on a Stamp,” “Dancing Forever with Spirit,” “Dance of Heavenly Bliss,” and “Dance of Eternal Rapture.” After practicing corporate law for over thirty years in Calgary with two blue-chip law firms, Garnet retired in 2008 to pursue his writing career. On his search for new ways to help his fellow humans understand the meaning of life on Earth, he enrolled in the Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique Academy and became a Level 2 QHHT Practitioner. Garnet takes great delight in helping people connect with their Higher Selves and to learn about their purpose for being on this planet.

Evolution Through Psychospiritual Paradigms

Evolution Through Psychospiritual Paradigms
~ Gwilda Wiyaka ~
Historically we have viewed the human being as a conglomeration of parts, rather than as a whole. Evolution, by its very nature, is the movement from fragmentation into unity. As we are increasingly being confronted with the need to embrace a more integrated experience, it becomes necessary to change our concepts from polarization – either/or – to inclusion. The lines between formats must first blur, and eventually dissolve, in order for us to participate in the larger picture being presented at this time. We need to apply This seamlessness to our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual expressions, as well as to the world at large.
What will this transformation look like? How can we unify when we have been fragmented for so long? What has caused this fragmentation? How can we evolve into whole beings, individually and culturally?

With us this hour to explore fragmentation, unity and evolution, is Dr. Sharon G. Mijares. Sharon is a psychologist, Sufi minister, and a professor, teaching at National University, the California Institute for Human Science, and Brandman University. She co-authored six books focused on psychospiritual development and the role of the feminine in global transformation. “A Force Such As the World Has Never Known: Women Creating Change,” brings women together from many cultures, and many areas of work. She has presented workshops in Costa Rica, Ecuador, Egypt, India, Mexico, Scotland, Uganda, United States and Venezuela.
