Evolution Through
Psychospiritual Paradigms
~ Gwilda Wiyaka ~
Historically we have viewed the human being as a
conglomeration of parts, rather than as a whole. Evolution, by its very nature,
is the movement from fragmentation into unity. As we are increasingly being
confronted with the need to embrace a more integrated experience, it becomes
necessary to change our concepts from polarization – either/or – to inclusion.
The lines between formats must first blur, and eventually dissolve, in order
for us to participate in the larger picture being presented at this time. We
need to apply This seamlessness to our physical, emotional, mental and
spiritual expressions, as well as to the world at large.
What will this transformation look like? How can we
unify when we have been fragmented for so long? What has caused this
fragmentation? How can we evolve into whole beings, individually and
culturally?
With us this hour to explore fragmentation, unity and
evolution, is Dr. Sharon G. Mijares. Sharon is a psychologist, Sufi minister,
and a professor, teaching at National University, the California Institute for
Human Science, and Brandman University. She co-authored
six books focused on psychospiritual development and the role of the feminine
in global transformation. “A Force Such As the World Has Never Known: Women
Creating Change,” brings women together from many cultures, and many areas
of work. She has presented workshops in Costa Rica, Ecuador, Egypt, India,
Mexico, Scotland, Uganda, United States and Venezuela.
