Heart Connection; Moving From Instability and Discord into Balance

Heart Connection; Moving From Instability and Discord into Balance

~ Gwilda Wiyaka ~

Just a year ago, the current events would have been unimaginable. Yet here we are, facing the largest crisis of our time. With a pandemic raging, protests, riots, looting and murders, the world seems to have gone mad. It’s rather like waking up one day to find ourselves living in a apocalyptic movie.

Further complicating things, we are faced with conflicting information – to mask or not to mask, to isolate or to congregate. Black lives matter, all life matters, or none of it does.

How we respond to this crisis will dictate our future for years to come. We desperately need to come from stability, logic and compassion. Yet with all the hype and hysteria, logical responses seem few and far between. Where can we find the insight to navigate through these challenging times? How can we become a voice of reason in the wilderness, rather than just another reactionary headless chicken?

With us this hour is a gentleman we have had the pleasure of having on the show before, Howard Martin. He has come on today to delve into heart connection and how we can engage it to navigate the turbulent waters of our time. Howard is one of the original leaders who helped Doc Childre found HeartMath, serving as a key spokesperson and executive. With Doc Childre, he co-authored “The HeartMath Solution.” Howard is also a contributing author of the new book, “Heart Intelligence, Connecting with the Intuitive Guidance of the Heart.” Howard played a key role in launching the Global Coherence Initiative (GCI), a science-based, co-creative project to unite people in heart-focused care and intention, to facilitate the shift in global consciousness from instability and discord to balance, cooperation and enduring peace.
