TRANSMUTATION: Alchemy for a World in Turmoil

TRANSMUTATION:  Alchemy for a World in Turmoil

~ Gwilda Wiyaka ~

Alchemy is defined as the process of taking something ordinary and turning it into something extraordinary, sometimes in a way that cannot be explained. It was the medieval forerunner of chemistry, based on the transformation of matter. Historically, alchemy was mainly concerned with attempts to convert base metals into gold or to find a universal elixir.

At this time, we are in desperate need of transforming our current challenges into a positive outcome. If ever true alchemy was needed, it would be now.

What is alchemy from a modern-day perspective? What is spiritual alchemy? Is alchemy a genuine possibility or just superstition? If it is real, how can we engage it to help us now?

With us this hour to discuss the power and application of spiritual alchemy is UK-based author of  “The Secret of Alchemist,” Colm Holland. Colm spent twenty-five years working in sales and marketing in the publishing industry. He was a member of the Harper Collins team which published Paul Coelho's “The Alchemist” in 1993. Colm teaches the art of spiritual alchemy in business and relationships. He is an experienced columnist and his interviews and articles are highly entertaining, full of humor and deep insights to help others find true empowerment through inner transformation.

Has the World Gone Mad? Spiritual Sanity in Crazy Times

Has the World Gone Mad? Spiritual Sanity in Crazy Times

~ Gwilda Wiyaka ~

Often, someone who has navigated profound challenges will credit their faith or spiritual practice for pulling them through. It’s been proven that people with a sound spiritual practice have more resources to weather the tough spots, while helping those around them do so as well.

With COVID-19 raging and all the global upheaval, if ever there was a challenging time, it would be now.

What is spirituality? How does it differ from religion? Can we use religion to find spirituality? How can we find spiritual sanity to support us during these crazy times?

With us this hour to ponder the grounding and centering power of spirituality and how to access it is Philip Goldberg. Philip has been studying the world’s spiritual traditions for more than 45 years. He is the author or co-author of 25 books published in more than a dozen languages. His book, “American Veda,” was named by Huffington Post and Library Journal as one of the Top 10 Religion Books of 2010. It was followed in 2018 by the popular biography, “The Life of Yogananda,” and his latest, “Spiritual Practice for Crazy Times.”
