The Fear That Binds You

The Fear That Binds You
~ Gwilda Wiyaka ~
Fear has many faces, not all of them bad. It is a natural response to danger designed to keep us safe and insure the continuation of the species. However, over the years, unprocessed trauma and deeply held fear has also created many problems that threaten the very longevity it was designed to preserve.
Science is just discovering the far-reaching negative effects of unprocessed fear. Fear can block joy, inter-connectedness, intuition, love, and health. Fear can be very complex, impacting us on all four levels; physical, emotional, mental and spiritual and thus needs to be addressed on all four levels as well.
When and why did fear become so problematic? Why do we store trauma to our detriment? Does fear compromise our well-being in hidden ways? Is it possible to turn this around? If so how?

With us this hour to delve into the shadow side of fear is Dr. Carla Marie Manly the author of “JOY from Fear Create the Life of Your Dreams by Making Fear Your Friend.” Carla is a clinical psychologist in private practice.  Using a holistic, mind-body-spirit approach, Dr. Manly works with individuals and groups, focusing on transformational growth and healing. She is a leading authority in the area of fear-based disorders, including; trauma, anxiety and depression.

Conscious Leadership for a Better Tomorrow

Conscious Leadership for a Better Tomorrow
~ Gwilda Wiyaka ~
Evolution involves disruptive transitions, dissolving rules, failing concepts and crumbling structures. As old systems deteriorate, we can be left floundering in the chaos. It’s challenging enough on an individual level, but now the entire earth is in transition. Never have we been in greater need of competent, compassionate leadership. Yet, historically, only too often, leadership roles have been filled by bullying, domineering, power hungry and exploitive individuals.
What will be required from the leaders of tomorrow? Where can one acquire the knowledge and skill to be an effective leader? How can one find the wisdom to lead in such transitional times? How can we transcend the stigma left by irresponsible, self serving leaders of the past in order to trust well meaning ones in the future?

With us this hour to explore effective, compassionate leadership is John Baldoni, author of 14 books including his latest, “GRACE: A Leader’s Guide to a Better Us.”  John is a leadership educator, executive coach and speaks throughout North America and Europe. John established a career as an executive coach, where he has worked with senior leaders in virtually every industry from pharmaceutical to real estate, and finance to health care. John has received numerous awards for his work including Inc.com Top 100 Speaker in 2018 and Top 50 Leadership Expert in 2014. Trust Across America honored John with its Lifetime Achievement Award for Trust and in 2019, Global Gurus ranked John No. 9 on its list of Top 30 global leadership experts.

The Evolution of Healing: The Marriage of Medicine and Spirit

The Evolution of Healing: The Marriage of Medicine and Spirit
~ Gwilda Wiyaka ~
The study of ecosystems demonstrates that everything is related to, and dependent upon, everything else. Remove a predator and you are overrun by prey. Eliminate a nutrient and crops fail. Divert a river and multitudes die. Burn one area and another floods.
Humans are ecosystems – communities of numerous organisms and dimensions forming the whole. Changing one aspect will profoundly affect the entire system. Not only are we comprised of organisms that must have balanced interaction for health and longevity, but we are also physical, emotional, mental and spiritual beings. All these levels must maintain balanced – yet mobile – relationships for us to thrive.
Modern medicine dismantles the various levels, organisms and systems, studying and treating them as standalones by segregated practices. Some aspects, such as the spiritual (or energetic), are often not taken into consideration.

With us this hour to explore the marriage of medicine and spirit is Dr. Veronica Anderson, a MD, Medical Intuitive, Functional Medicine practitioner and Homeopath. She is the author of the #1 Bestselling Book  which became a Hot New Release in Holistic Medicine “But Now I See: A Medical Intuitive Surgeon’s Guide to the Meaning of Your Illness and how to Heal from Chronic and Incurable Disease.” She began her medical career as an Eye Surgeon and now has the distinction of being both a licensed physician and a practicing psychic.
